After graduating from the University of Colorado with an English degree, Melana decided to switch gears completely and pursue a career as a hair stylist. She couldn't be happier with her decision. Now in the business for 6 years, she has learned from some of the best in the industry. She has worked in Boulder, as well as Newport Beach, CA, and is now back working right where she grew up. Melana is a Redken colorist, also specializing in haircutting for both men and women.

Her love for fashion and her job keep her constantly seeking the most current trends, while at the same time enjoys helping the most down to earth minimalist feel simply beautiful. When not in the salon, Melana loves to travel, see live music, beat her husband at Scrabble, and go out for Mexican food.
